Bio
I am Walker Hajduk, a CFX and rigging artist. I graduated in 2024 from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation, concentrating in Technical Animation, and a minor in Character Technical Direction. I graduated with a 3.94 GPA in just under three years. I worked hard to accomplish this, often taking summer classes and participating in SCAD’s dual enrollment program. During this time, I developed strong time management skills and a solid work ethic, balancing both high school and college courses and pushing through long nights of animation. I sacrificed much of my free time and summers to graduate early while maintaining a high GPA, an achievement I am proud of. I am now continuing my education at Texas A&M getting a Master's of Science in visualization.
I love animation as a medium. Whether games or movies, I have always argued that the median is the best for storytelling. I don’t know another artistic device that can persuade an audience to care about such a large variety of characters. I cannot think of another artistic device capable of persuading an audience to experience such a wide range of emotions, from laughing to crying to cheering on characters as strange as a hot dog or as real as another human being. I want a chance to continue learning in this medium I have loved. I want to work with people and make people laugh, cry, and tell stories. Have characters so imaginative that people make spin-offs and create their own alternate stories with them. As a technical animator and rigger, I remind myself every day. I am always learning one joint at a time.
